VIP Vendor Profile

The Happy Envelope  is owned by husband and wife couple, Sarah and Ty Pattison. Armed with a graphic design background, Sarah began designing invitations and announcements for family and friends.  In 2003, she branched out and started The Happy Envelope.  Four years later, Ty joined her as business manager.

Sarah believes that each invitation has the potential be a beautiful and memorable package for the recipient.  This past summer, she designed an invitation suite for Ruthann and Mark Fleenor, based on their raspberry and charcoal color scheme.  They wanted something formal and fairly traditional, with an updated twist.  Invitations, thank you notes, ceremony program fans and favor tags were all coordinated with colors and artwork.  It is these tiny details that make events special and unique.

Sarah brings passion and fun to the design process, which we experienced personally, when she designed The Bridal Suite logo, as well as our business cards, stationery and marketing pieces.

Contact Sarah to begin designing an invitation suite that’s just as beautiful and unique as your wedding day.

Happy Planning,

Sonya

Bridal Show Booth Inspiration: The Royal Engagement

Thanks to our VIP Vendors who helped us create our Royal Engagement inspired booth at the Premier Bridal show.   All Occasions Party Rentals provided the table, chairs, linens & place settings for our reception table.  The gold underlay and sapphire overlay were inspired by the engagement ring that Prince William presented to Lady Katherine.

The sapphire, gold and royal theme were continued throughout the menu cards, as well as the crown shaped Chambord favors.  A mirrored tile vase, reminiscent of castle mullioned windows, showcased a floral and feather centerpiece by Samuel FranklinWhite Table provided the black underlay and gold pintuck overlay on our main table and the columns & topiary filled urns were provided by All Occasions Party Rentals and Samuel Franklin.

Last, but definitely not least, Brian Allen Photography, Dixie Pixel and Waldorf  Photographic Art contributed their time and talent for signage and artwork.

VIP Vendor Profile

Bill Waldorf has long been one of my favorite photographers.  He almost always answers his phone personally and he quickly responds to email.  It’s nice to know that when I refer a bride to him that she will receive the same prompt service, both before and after the wedding.

On the wedding day, Bill and his team of artists work quickly and efficiently, staying out of the limelight, but capturing great memories.  Their easy going personalities put the couple, family members and wedding party at ease, making everyone feel relaxed in front of the camera.

I was intrigued to learn recently that Bill majored in painting and portraiture in college, especially since I have often commented that many of his photos look like paintings.  Don't you agree?
